Maintenance A4
I have 2015 model C63S with 32000 kms. The car indicated that the next maintenance is A4.
My garage told me that is a big one including rear-axle and transmission oil changes, spark plugs, oil.
They quoted a price of 1800 euro which is around 2100 USD. Anyone already had the A4 service?

I see rear axle and trans is at 31 K miles and spark plugs at 46500 miles and I would not do them sooner even if the time is over the 3 years.
I do a engine oil and filter each year no matter how many miles and engine air filter at 3 years no matter the miles but those others I would wait for more miles unless you have tracked it a bit or have other factors that make you think it should be done earlier.
I did first rear axle change at 1850 miles and did an engine oil and filter then also.
At one year I did A service and at two years the B service inc brake fluid and inside filter.
I am coming up on the second A service in Sept and will have about 17-18 k miles and I will skip the Trans and rear diff till later but will do engine air filter and of course engine oil and filter etc.
Everybody drives a little different and lives in different weather and you have to decide is best for your car.
I also check at more than 1 dealer as last year found a end of summer special on service and saved $350 from what the local dealer quoted.

At least in the us, they don’t care about the number element on the indicator, rather the mileage. It’s either A or B and anything else the service sheet notes. I don’t know if anyone knows for a fact what the numbers indicate. I have suspected that if you don’t take the car in and get the indicator reset until after it’s past due, the next one will have a higher number. I have no way of verifying. Another possibility could be driving style.

A4
I called another MB garage - asked maintenance and told that assyst indicates A4. I asked what the A4 contains, and whether transmission and rear axle oil change is included. Their reply was no. Thus in the AMG performance center(my first call) the content of A4 maintenance was difference than in a normal MB dealership maintenance. Strange. However bot indicated a recall action regarding steering column.
