and there’s an “updated” launch schedule at the last page (one of the last pages depending on when you click the link)

The order guide says red marker only the in the C43 AMG. And it only comes with red-top stitched upholstery, which is available only on C43 models.

I ordered the leather steering wheels also, and I’m expecting no red marker. My interior is all black Nappa, but that’s a moot point since it says only C43.

Has anyone else run into this...……. My dealer holding my deposit says that the carbon fiber trim and the wireless charging NFC pad for phone are incompatible. Obviously I chose the trim, but this seems weird. I put deposit down on Sedan in July and it still hasn't been officially ordered. The Houston Dealerships are telling me no discounts available. Should I try a smaller market?

1) I ordered a sedan recently with Carbon Fiber interior + Wireless phone charging... dealer made no mention of incompatibility. Wonder if that's a coupe or sedan issue.

2) B26 - Aerodynamics package... is that Euro only? I didn't see that in the North American dealer ordering guide but seems like I would probably love that option. Can anyone confirm?

I got 6% off fairly easily on a sedan in Houston

Ordered end of June. Was told there are delays in carbon fiber trim so no allocation yet. Anyone else experiencing this?

Aero package is available in NA (I ordered it on mine), but you can't get the wing or side skirts in carbon fiber if you opt for it. I ordered a coupe in July with carbon trim and wasn't told about any delay (at least not related to the trim).

My build is currently scheduled to start Oct/3rd decade (i.e., basically, this week or next). However, dealer told me last week they're seeing delays in delivery across all classes, so not to be surprised when build start and/or delivery is late. Sorta suggests (to me, anyway) the delays are more about the "official launches" of the MY19 models than any actual production issues. Frankly, I'd rather have the build delayed than have the car sit in port, waiting on a launch date.

Mine's configured with Carbon trim and charging pad. I watched my dealer put the build in and it allowed it.

Can anyone please confirm that the U88 AMG Drive Unit (the controls between the horizontal and vertical spokes on the steering wheel for ride control, 9-stage traction control, exhaust, etc.) is standard on the C63S? I don't have the latest DOG; mine it says it's a $400 option on the L6J wheel I ordered, and I don't see it listed on my build sheet. I would almost swear that it was listed as standard when my dealer and I were configuring the build, but I've slept since then. The fact it's not on the sheet has me a little nervous.

Having the same confusion here as well lol. I want the all leather steering wheel L6J but in the description it didn't mention anything about U88 drive unit. Unlike L6K says comes with out without. And the L6G says required. If you got your answer please update me as well. Thanks

Yes the U88 amg drive unit is standard on the 2019 c63s. I ordered mine with the L6H Carbon Fiber Wheel..Also the U78 Performance exhaust is now standard on the 2019 c63s.

Thanks, @purplewidow. Apologies to the forum. This was apparently previously asked and answered on this very thread. I just didn't see it.

(I did get confirmation, too, from my dealer that the drive unit and the perf exhaust are standard on the S).

So, a word from my dealer. My cabriolet won't be in production until 2nd week of February 2019. and it takes 8 to 12 weeks to deliver the car. Then that puts the time around may of 2019. Now i'm thinking thats half a year will be gone. Would this still considering to be a 2019 or it should be 2020. Any thoughts?

February build would be a 2019 car and there is nothing wrong with a May 2019 delivery of a 2019 car.

Why in the world does it take that long after production? My car is going into production April 1st and I'm supposed receive it about 4 weeks later in SoCal...? Are you in some remote location or something?

8-12 weeks is the shipping estimate to the west coast. That's also what they tell you when doing European Delivery. 8-12 weeks from drop off before it arrives at the dealer. 4 weeks is best case at best. Coupes and Cabs are made at the factory in Bremen, so fortunately that's very close to Bremerhaven from where they are shipped, but cars can easily sit at the port a couple of weeks before they get a spot on a vessel. The journey through the ocean is a few weeks. Don't remember exactly from last time, but the vessel has to cross the Panama channel, which is very busy, then offloaded in Long Beach. Then going through the VPC and customs can take up to two weeks worst case, but can also be as little as a day. All depends. I'm sure the shutdown has an effect on customs backlog and if we have another shutdown in three weeks it'll get worse. If the car sustained damage on the way over here, it needs to be repaired first. If you are in SoCal it won't have to go far afterwards, but for me it has to be trucked to NorCal for example.

Finalized my 2019 C63s Cabriolet order on 10/1/18.
Emailed received on 11/18/18 that the car was built and would be shipping on 11/19/18.
Took delivery 12/13/18.
So 2.5 months from final order to delivery.

Yes indeed.
I actually went back in March, yes March, to try and order. As you know, that was way too early.
I stayed in contact once a month with the sales manager in hopes to order.
Once the sales manager found out they were allocated (1) of these, he contacted me and allowed me to make the order per my preferences.
Everything finalized in October as stated.
Hopefully you’ll get your soon. It is worth the wait.

are you serious?! 8-12 weeks is normal delivery time to the west coast?!?! OMG...that royally sucks, if so. Can anyone else attest to this? Anyone on the west coast get their order quicker?
