Get the software updates for the engine and transmission!!!!! All i can say is WOW! The car is transformed to something I cant describe. So good, so smooth. Everything shifts like you wanted it to in the first place. And power deliver? SO FAST!!! And the sound? Dont believe the pops and bangs from some YouTube footage, in real life theyre soooo deep and mad as f*ck!
Forget tuning, second cat delete, down pipes whatever right now. Get this first and DONT even consider selling the car before you tried the new version of your own car.

I got mine updated about a month ago. MY15 sedan with a 5/2015 build date and no updates done since delivery.
Outside of a few more pops on high RPM throttle lift and a higher idle on startup (to me the reason for the increased volume people claim), it really didn't change all that much. Noticed the throttle isn't quite as touchy off the line, but the car doesn't seem all that different other than that.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I agree with op. The sound is at a different level. Much more enjoyable.

Also now i finally understand people who claimed to always drive in S+!! Before I just could not since the car was too jerky in low gears in S+ it didnt feel good at all and first gear was horrible since it didnt allow ”roll” like now.. Now its amazing and can enjoy driving in S+ everywhere!!! (with suspension in comfort 😆.

I’m still on the original tune, honestly I love the throttle feel in sport and sport + all I hear is after the update tune is laggy throttle response and car feel like it has less power. No way am I doing that.

I had mine updated to the most recent one (2018).
The only feel of slowness there may be, must be because it’s much louder in many ways and you can hear each deep note from the monster (together with ASR on) and behind the driver seat it may not feel as fast with all the sound you’re used to is coming earlier than when you went faster before. Turn off ASR and exhaust button off and you’ll get that discrete ”damn you fast” feeling more often but less noise to enjoy
Must say this ASR module makes a big difference in my car.

A friend of mine told me about this software update, one for the engine and one for the transmission apparently. I bought a CPO 2015 Sedan ED1 and took it back in to the service dept. the same week to get them to update to this. I even had the version numbers and they said they couldn't update anything unless I had a complaint about how it drove. So right away I said well it is a little jerky and the update apparently makes it smoother and then said there were no updates shown available for the car. I know my car isn't updated to this update because my car sounds nothing like my friends C63S sedan with the update. Maybe I'll try a new approach or a different dealer!
