I would be VERY cautious with BMS. I ran their products back in my N54 335i days. I have never had more issues with a tune in my life. Limp mode, check engine lights and lack of support. I would not trust them with my almost $100k C63 as they have no experience with Mercedes. Just a heads up.

Hi! Was happy to see the $500 off so I rushed over and ordered one, it arrives tomorrow. I called the local Dinan shop here in Campbell, CA today, and I was a little perplexed at what I heard. I was told the hardware doesn't actually have the specific software for my model, it still has to be downloaded, specified, tested, and formally tuned at the shop. Meaning they also have to do the installation basically, which could be the price of the product on it's own.
Is this correct? Is it shipped blank / generic and they still have to contact Dinan HQ and get the lates software build based on my VIN and download it, then flash the Piggyback with it and test it? I didn't find this anywhere in my research. TBH if the installation costs as much as the product, why do people bother piggy backing with it instead of sending out the ECU for a real flash itself. I thought the point of paying 2k for the piggyback was it has the software and could ostensibly he installed by a car owner who also happened to be an mechanic at home. The installation left me believing I'd be ok to install it myself and it was plug-n-play. If thats not the case, then I'll be shipping it back this Saturday unopened, and sending my ECU to Weistec for a real Flashing. I spent hours upon hours researching, im surprised nobody mentioned this! No hard feelings - I had a W204 C63 507 previously, and i loved my Weistec flashed ECU.

Just snagged [the last?] one. Taking a flyer that I'll actually get my '19 soon (build date scheduled for this week-ish, but will see). Will install it after break-in x2.
I was almost dead set on this: by all accounts a great tune and safe for emissions and warranty. Throw in a $500 discount and I had to pull the trigger.
