Front Tires are more worn than the Rear? Opinions for next set of tires
Just had my service A, hit the 1 year mark with 8,000 miles. The front are more worn than the rear and will be needing replacement. I will probably replace all 4 since the rear isn't too far behind. It's strange, I usually hear of the rears getting worn first, have you heard of the converse?
I'm also looking for the next set of tires. Ive narrowed it down to michelin's pilot super sports and Continental extreme contact sport. Which one would you go with? I've also heard good things about michelin new tire, the 4s. But i dont see any tires fitting for the c63 coupe. Right now I'm on the stock 255/35 R19 F and 285/30 R19 R, a combo i dont find available in the 4S. What sizes have c63 owners been putting on their cars when they choose the michelin 4S? Car is completely stock, nothing done. Thanks,

If you search thru this forum you'll find many threads dealing with this topic and that many participants have the MPS4S fitted. I don't know what part of the US you're in but unless they are out of stock, you should find them. On this forum, I think the MPS4S will edge the Contis. You just have to search a bit harder.

I can tell you this. The stock pilot sports are far better then the Conti extremes. Road feel and turn in is much better. Can’t comment on grip yet I’m still breaking in the car. Wear is much better though on the Conti. Had them for about a year with 50 percent left when I turned my car in, and I punched the gas all day haha

I've had both the Michelin PSS and Continental ExtremeSport on my car, and to tell you the truth there isn't much difference between them. Both have similar road feel and performance, and the Michelin might have a little bit better comfort.
The biggest difference is price; you'll save a couple hundred dollars going with Continental. For 4 tires on a coupe with 19"/20" wheels, the Continentals are $950 and the Michelins are $1,200.

I changed my rears at 7000 miles from Stock Conti's to the Michelin Pilot Sport 'S'. Very very good in the dry and wet with better grip, noise and they look nicer too with smart sidewalls.
On Friday I change the front tyres to the same. 8300 miles.
Try them

I've driven on a track with the new conti 6p, its wet grip seems a fair bit better than the MPSS to me. I have heard though that the MP4S at least equals the contis on wet grip.
MP4s has best dry braking apparently and will likely wear better than the Conti 6. I had conti 5p's on my other car and the tyre wear was pretty terrible on that model.
I would probably say the MP4S would be my tyre of choice on the 63. if you live in teh desert and it never rains, the Cup 2 is worth thinking about!

What is a good size for the michelin 4s for the c63 2018 coupe? From reading and searching the forums, I'm finding 265/35 R19 and 295/30 R 19? I have a stock confirguration.
Im in the U.S., why does tirerack have the mercedes MPSS front's slightly more expensive than a Michelin 4s front? Why is the older model more expensive lol
