Hissing sound from exhaust?
Has anyone else noticed this? I seem to hear a hissing sort of sound from my exhaust at certain low rpms. Im trying to figure out if this is somewhat normal or something I should get checked out? It seems to be more profound when the car is cold so my guess is that it has something to do with the valves.

Asked the dealer to look in to this while the car was in for the electronic rear acle inoperative message.
was a little worried that they may try to blame it on secondary cat delete but they said the valves need a special lubricant. Sounds like a simple fix

Ohhh... I thought you meant "hissing" like a snake, but you meant a rattling like a... snake... 😪
Regardless please let us know if it's fixed... It sounds like something is broken every time I'm on boost. And I'm stock

Interested to hear the outcome from the rattling as I also have the same. I've heard of dealers replacing the whole exhaust to fix it under warranty

Dealer said noise will stay be there for 2-3 weeks until the grease they applied can go down the shaft. They isolated the noise to front exhaust flap so they removed the front exhaust flap actuator to spray apply greast to shaft.
not feeling too confident in this ‘2-3’ week thing. They said if the noise doesnt go away to bring the car back and I have a feeling thats whats gonna end up happening.

Mine does the same without cat delete so that's obviously bollocks from them! Not that you didn't know that already of course
