Retro fitting 2019 rear diffuser a s exhaust tips- update now completed
Seen a few threads that touch upon this subject but not seen any part numbers or anyone who has done it yet? We have several who have done the front grill and lower grills with part numbers but no rears yet?
Whats people’s thoughts? The new tailpipes look bigger and a bit tougher IMO. Also the c63s seems to come with the lower diffuser similar to the pre facelift Ed 1 and also is it gloss black as apose to the cheap plastic finish of the current one?
So, anyone doing or or done it? Any part numbers for the diffuser with lower spoiler and pipes? Pics please..

Yes there is a carbon fiber option

Also you have standard or the sportier version with the aero pack, similar to de ed1

standard naff plastic rear diffuser currently but have a new edition 1 gloss rear diffuser to go on. Now pondering if I should sell ed1 RD and do the rear update. Not sure which I like best. Looking at pics I think the old edition 1 but I’ve bought the facelift front grills so feel it will be better matching?

I have updated front grill but already have ed1 rear diffuser with carbon fibre, so not sure if I prefer mine over carbon fibre facelift. The only thing is the larger tailpipes
This is my current configuration

Still not sure which direction to go in. Looking at pics ed1 looks tougher! 2019 looks rounded and a bit soft! Yes the bigger tail pipes and the fact it’s the facelift version still tempt me. And also it’s all gloss black! Guess we need some ££££. Seen a rear valance and tailpipes on eBay for £1100 but it the basic version with no undertray. Will email my parts guy and see what he can come up with but generally he isn’t that useful without a part no!

What I know is if I decide to make the change I will go for the carbon fiber option
Let’s see if we can find out part numbers!

That's the rear splitter, which is part of the new AMG Aerodynamic package (Coupe only). Edition 1 came with something similar to the AMG Aerodynamic package. There is a CF rear diffuser, but then when you add the Aero package on top it adds a gloss black splitter to the rear diffuser. That's what the closeup picture above shows. The splitter wraps around the exhaust tips and then goes along the underside of the diffuser. No idea about the part numbers, though and we've yet to see pictures of an actual US spec coupe with both CF packages and the Areo package. I've got one on order, but I won't take delivery until May and the other one I know of is @purplewidow build, who might take delivery around March. There are a bunch with the Aero package already delivered, but nobody seems to have taken delivery yet of one with the CF and Aero packages.

Love the S model with the lower trim. Previously only on the Edition 1 Coupe

Perfect thanks for all the help. You don't by any chance have the part number for the rest of the aero pack? (the front lip mainly) I ordered a new 19 coupe without the aero pack and now trying to fix that stupid mistake. I've had a look but can't find the part numbers.

Not sure really. I’ve added edition 1 front spoiler, rear spoiler and side skirts which in my eyes are exactly the same as facelift parts but would like to guaranteed it. I can dig out the numbers for these if it helps.
