Yabeela Turbo Reviews

Does anyone have any personal experiences with Yabeela Auto Parts whether it be there Turbos or any other mods they sell? I haven't been able to find any reviews online. I'm thinking of going with their YB.4 Turbos

DSawyer is the only one I’m aware of that has their turbo setup...his posts on here and Instagram show 800+ at the tires...but the stock tranny gave out shortly after

I heard there is a lot of custom fabrication involved in getting them on, or at least more so than what's advertised. It's not just plug and play. But don't quote me.

Very False!

They bolt on to stock manifolds and downpipes with perfect fitment.

The only modification is you need to put a very small bend in the stock oil return tube on the drivers side housing.

Being ball bearing, they spool and respond just as fast as the stock journal bearing turbos except they keep making power instead of losing steam up top.

My car is making 828 whp and 780 ft. lbs. of torque with these turbos on 93 octane fuel and twin 1000 cc Meth injection nozzles.

Yes, trans is slipping right now, but you could tune this setup to a very reliable 775/700 hp/tq setup on stock trans and it would hold. I'm just past the limit.

Solution coming soon!

That's good info, the people I know having issues with fitment are on the W213 E63. Figured C63s would have same issue but guess not.

Does anyone have an install guide for turbo swaps (EPC WIS)? I'm curious what's involved and how long it takes. Seems like it wouldn't take long to install stock frame/hybrid turbos with them sitting right there in the V.

@dsawyer63 How much boost are you running? It sounds like you were on a high reading dyno cause that’s a lot of power for stock frame turbos. Is that 131mph pass on that setup? If so, it’s def not making near 850whp because that power level would put you in the 145mph and 9.5 second zone. Not trying to bust your balls brotha, but the power figure caught my attention since I’m a horsepower junkie lol.

Nothing "stock frame" about these turbos....

My 131 pass was on stock frame turbos and about 690 whp.

I have not ran the new setup with 828whp yet due to my transmission issues.

My car will be ready when the Drag strips open back up here in March/April so I should have some good results for everyone then!

gOt BoOsT 01-12-2019 11:08 AM

Oh so they aren’t stock frames machined with larger turbines like every other company makes. Ok that makes sense that the 131 pass was around 650whp. Keep everyone updated once you hit the track brotha!

Lmfao what in the world makes you guys think these are stock frames?! It's very very apparent they're not.

Also if I am to chime in, price on these are pretty awesome as there isn't a core and you get to keep your stocks. If I were to do it again, I probably would have sacked up and got these over my pure 900s, near same cost if you keep your cores

I probably shouldn’t of hijacked the thread by mentioning stock frame/hybrid turbos! Just curious what’s involved in a standard turbo swap for the M177. Yabeela turbos are huge (definitely custom compressor and turbine castings), so I assume it would be slightly more involving.

Does anyone have a print out for the Mercedes install guide for turbo replacement? I’m itching to install this set I have, I just don’t want to spend the whole weekend doing it.

No need to get your panties in a wad over a simple question. Haven’t even seen the turbos and figured they were stock variants since they bolt on without modification to intake or downpipes.

Can anyone compare & contrast yabeela to weistec w.4 turbos?

I think both are GTX 3071 cores

I would also like to mention on a side note that there is almost no lag due to the light weight efficient design of the YP4.

What supporting mods do recommend when fitting these turbos?

Is it as simply as bolting on the new turbos and retuning?

Looking to go Stage 3 soon so looking at turbo options atm.

Dougs car ran a 10.5 @ 135 with the new turbos lol

i don’t get why he claims not running the car and “trans threw in the towel”

Is there less lag than with the stock turbos?

Watch my Dragy video and listen. It's slipping hard, and still faster than you 60-130, wasn't your 60-130 in the 6s? Mine is 5.85. The power combined with a drag launch and the trans couldn't take it. Also I settled for 10.4s almost 2 years ago, so I'm working on a goal with less digits than that. 🍿 🍿 🍿

60-130 is all gearing. I did 6.02 at the dragstrip with 0% slope. Of course i go faster on the highway with a downhill. Dont worry my 10.46 will be easy to beat but my 141mph trap wont be easy to beat. Good luck lol. 5.8 60-130 and a 135mph trap sounds kind of weak to me 🤷🏼*♂️

You're right, gearing helps. Your car has a 2.82 gear which is way better for 60-130 and trap speed than the 3.06 my coupe had in this dragy test. But, now I have a 2.65 gear so It'll be even better. Also you're right 10.5 @ at 135 is weak although it's not weak when you consider the amount of slipping going on. Once those clutches let go the wheels are probably seeing 550 hp max.

your car has alot of potential, with the right tuner. As I recommended Kevin @ GoLabWorx will be your best shot. Best 4.0L tuner ever. And my 3rd is starts at 60mph and i dont hit boost till 75ish mph so kills my time and my 90-100 / 100-110 is a 1.2 second difference compared to others .8

777 is 777 and 828 is 828 just saying... I'm sure your car is working the best it possibly can which is 6s 60-130 and under 800 whp. just text me you've got my number

Does Yabeela uses a Precision turbo part? https://www.precisionturbo.net/Stree...PT5858-CEA/232 I see this is a 58mm, 76 trim wheel.
