Volume Boost
it seems pretty dumb that I have to change the volume control from normal to boost every time I start the car. Is there any workaround for this?

i did search but no solution came up or was that just your way of saying that there is no work around for this?
so basically with these cars
1) turn ignition on
2) switch to individual mode
3) turn volume boost on
4) finally drive
LOL pretty ridiculous imo but oh well at least the v8 sounds good

Drives me nuts as well. I haven't found a solution/workaround either. Lord knows I've tried. I do notice a difference other than it being louder. More bass and a little more crisper - IMHO. I also like the power meter (hp/torque) up on the screen as well. So each time I start the car, I have to fumble with these two (boost/power meter) settings - PITA. Not the end of the world however.

I find when I use Volume Boost, the bass cuts out if I really push it.
But if I leave Volume Boost off and play everything at Max Volume, it's almost as loud, but the bass never cuts out (which I find preferable).

If you have the Multimedia package it does. May even if you don't - however don't quote me on that. I put the pics in sequence to show how it's done. But it is also annoying because every time you start your car you need to press the Boost button. Wish there was a way that It could just stay on constantly.

Any other benefits you've noticed after the update? (faster menu's etc.)

My bass cuts out when using volume boost. Such a bad audio system that volume boost is needed but then another problem occur with the bass 😂 do anyone else experience the same? I first thought my car had blown out speakers

But if I don't use the volume boost, and crank the volume to (near max) it won't cut out at all.
If I go higher than (near max), the bass gets trimmed and only the rest of the frequencies get louder.
