So I decided to upgrade my door pins to the newer E63S version . Its an easy upgrade , they just unscrew but you will have to use a set of pliers and be careful not to mark up the trim panel or door pin guide . There are 2 parts that will be required , the part numbers are in the pictures . Do not snap them together but install the white base first and you will again need to use pliers and carefully turn them down and test the height by locking the door before you snap the outer door pin onto the base because you probably won't be able to use your pliers on these without damaging them .Make sure your front windows are down to make it easier . You want the base to be almost flush in the locked position before snapping the outer onto the base .I found you could turn the rear by hand towards the end but if you have large hands it might be tough .If your windows are tinted be vary careful with the pliers not to nick the tint .
