New Tire Question
I've read a number of threads on the topic of new tires, but haven't found one where forum members clearly delineate their experience (like/dislike) with a particular tire (if I overlooked it, please redirect me). I currently have the original Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT's on my 2016 C63S with the stock sizes (245/35R19,265/35R19). They've served me well - in 3+ years I've gotten about 23K miles out of them, but definitely time to replace them. Looking for recommendations on best replacement tire based on your experience.
Thanks in advance!

PS4S
For street use the PS4S. I have three sets of them on three different cars (2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder, 2004 Audi S4 with Bilstein coil-overs, and a not yet complete Cobra Daytona Coupe replica). They rock - smooth, quiet, grippy in the dry, good in the wet and not too bad on longevity.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I ended up going with the PS4s and you all were spot on - they are fantastic tires! What a world of difference over my worn out Dunlop Sport Maxx's. Thanks again for steering me in this direction!

I went with same size as originals, but these PS4s seem to be a little bigger - not quite as low profile as the Dunlops which means they fill the wheel well a bit more. Or maybe it’s just an optical illusion, but swear I see a difference.

For the street id say get PS4 tires. If you have a tune or drive your car like i do mine your gonna need some serious grip. But if you dont care how long they last drag radials are the way to go. Im on nitto NT05 tires 295/18/30 and my lord what a huge diffrence. I can pull hard in every gear 1st-3rd with almost no wheelspin. Good luck

He's gotta be quoting coupe sizes; based on other threads, no way to squeeze 295s into the rear wells of a sedan. If memory serves, 275 is the most.
Agree with the large majority vote for PS4s. As soon as the stock Pilot Super Sports on my coupe wear out, I'm putting 265/305 PS4s on mine. (If I can get 275s in front, I'd like to just to keep the front/rear difference the same, but haven't seen a post that confirms it can be done)

On a sedan with stock tires it should be 33 PSI cold. 44 would ride very rough. From my research when I put 275 35 19 on mine the pressure should stay the same or maybe go up 1 PSI.
38 on the front cold with stock wheels and tires. I see some on the drag strip going down about 2 PSI but on the track the pressure will go up from stock probably 8 or more PSI just with the heat in them.
