60k turbo blowing up

60k turbo blowing up
At around 61k drive side turbo blew up. Dealer have car for over 3 months month in the passenger turbo blows up. Car is stock as well any one else have this issue ?

Is that an actual hole punched out of the turbine housing?
I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that before. I was expecting to see a blown compressor or turbine wheel, but it looks like the turbine wheel completely let go and shot through the turbine housing?!
I’m surprised this happened stock. Did the turbo blow when you were at wide open throttle? Did it blow before the car was up to operating temp? I can’t imagine how hot that turbine was to fail that way and not be able to contain the burst.

wow subscribing for updates. sorry OP but a good excuse to go pure turbos I guess . Hold on, the passenger turbo blew up while the dealer was in possession of the car? Sounds like a BIG problem for the dealer.
