Real World 0-60 WITHOUT Launch Control

Hi all,

Curious to see if anyone has measured their 0-60mph in the current generation C63 (non S/S) without using launch control and what figures people came back with.

Cheers.

Coupe and convertible figures preferable

That is completely dependent on tires (type, age, wear), the road service (type, condition), and driver ability. You are never going to get a consistent answer.

Depends on tire size, compound, weather temp, road conditions. etc So many variables for an arbitrary question.

Yea considering I've ran a 3.5 0-60 and 20 minutes later on a different road ran a 4.1, you'll never get an exact answer

Were you going downhill?

C63S should be somewhere around 4.5 - 5 seconds due to the loss of traction, my friend was initially slower than a C43 in a 1/4 mile race, though he later passed that C43, lol

Traction is a big problem for this car, wider tires can help but can't completely solve it, unless you get those slick tyres of course.

Without Race Start? On street tires / non prep track? That is great!

Street tyres 295/30/19 Michelin PS4

both race start and non race start was getting same times.

Looks like those 295 PS4 deliver a bit more traction than my 265 PSS.

This is great stuff guys. Keep it coming !

kings4thecup 05-13-2019 02:36 PM

I've got the 295s in PS4S and the traction is much better then when i had MPSS 285s

https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...91a58da8ab.pngstock c63s sedan, lots of wheel spin on completely bald 285/35r19 Bridgestone re11. I will try again in 10days when my r888r come in and I'm guessing it will be 3.6-3.7

How about you actually buy the car first before worrying about 0-60 times kid. This isn't the car to buy for stop light racing from light to light.

Where I'm from I find that most of the time racing on the street is usually from a roll, intersections tend to be really bumpy where im at, these cars really pull hard once they hook. I think the OP should buy an RS3 if 0-60 is really important. I also feel that any car that can accelerate to 60 in under 4 seconds on the street is fantastic. Even Nissan gtrs can't consistently get sub 3 second times on the street as conditions are always changing.
