Looking forward to my 2019 rear diffuser and tailpipes to arrive now. Also a subtle set of spacers to be added to the rear. |
Nice deep shine!

Looks beautiful!

Looking good! Did you get paint correction done prior to the ceramic coating? This is next on my to do list as well once I get some additional exterior parts installed.

I'm partial to Brilliant Blue. Best color.
Looks great OP, hope you got it PPF'd too. |
Hmm, I didn’t go ppf and have just got my first stone chip ! Weighed up the cost and decided it wasn’t cost effective. It’s unlikely I will keep the car for more than 2 years, and decided I would rather touch up or re fresh the front end if needed. Am looking at how to touch my chip in now though !!!! Maybe I should have ppf’d!

@4dr.no
Hello, If your windshield was not also coated I would invite you to look at our windshield treatment, Vision Protect. This coating will last up to two years on the windshield and five on the side glass. It is the longest lasting hydrophobic coating in the category. |

I had ceramic pro done on my 19 brilliant blue a couple months ago and to be honest I hate it.
Its easier to clean of course and its a bit deeper shine but it made the orange peel stand out so much that now I’m looking to have it color sanded. While the detail shop I went to was apparently trained in ceramic pro(they are authorized), they knew squat about paint correvtion and I specifically said I’d pay the cost of a full cut to get the orange peel out. my wife picked up the car or I would have refused it. this was after he had to redo it because the first time it came out dull due to what he said was an issue with the product that I now know was just incompetence. car actually looks good but if you get close the orange peel is bad. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5203b00fb.jpeg |

Look at your car from an angle that isn't straight at the car, like stand by the front fender and look down the side at the door. See all that bumpiness in the reflection? That's orange peel. It has the texture of an 🍊 orange. Although of course not as pronounced. Almost all clear coated cars have it from the factory now. Some worse than others. Mine just happened to be about average but the ceramic made it more noticeable.
