New C63 S . Need tune /modification help !!!
Ok I come from a long line of fast cars, and I am in love with my C63S but i definitely want to make it as fast as possible . I was thinking of doing downpipes , and getting a rowdy tune. So far i got K&N air filters and a Carbahn Stage 1 W205 Tune... and some drag radials . I did 11.7 @ 120 . I feel like this tune i have is not any better than stock. I think i May buy the rebuilt factory turbos for 2900 that CarBahn offers, however i may not do that for a month or so.... who is the best tuner for these cars ? I know this thing has A LOT more power to unleash given the factory equipment. Thanks !

Do a search on a 9s C63s in this forum if you want to go as fast as possible.

If the tune isn’t giving you anything from that company.. which your 1/4 mile time shows (unless track conditions were bad) why would you get turbos from them? Honestly been on this forum for a while now and never even heard of that company

Nobody is answering because you clearly haven't done any homework on your own. You get what you pay for.. If you want the fastest c63 out there you'll need at least $10k....

We can easily tune the car, we have done thousands of them. We have the handheld and tune on sale for 1499 right now plus shipping. Handheld allows you to tune from home

Throw a JB4 on it so you can do proper logs and evaluate the tuning you have, then use the JB4 to add 2-3psi as octane allows for improved performance. It can limit boost at the launch too for improved traction to shave the 60' down. :)

I have a DME stage 2 tune... done through OBD port, with catted downpipes... supposedly 550whp per Dme...feels and sounds night and day from before. Monster surge. I'll get on dyno when time permits. A local with the same setup minus cats ran 11.2 at 124. Well worth it.

Have you though about the Dinan Interceptor box. No need to mess with a tune and can be brought to stock quickly with socket insert. A vendor on this site sells them. I have one installed in my c63S.

Try search....DINANTRONICS Elite Performance Tuner for MB C63 C63S
|
I also have the Dinan tune and the car pulls so hard now. Had to upgrade tires because I couldn't keep it stuck to the road. I would definitely recommend it.

Lol piggybacks suck. Get a real tune and down pipes. Or go all out and get bigger turbos. The stock turbos are a constraint on this motor.

I've been reading comments about the Dinan piggyback for some time now, and I haven't seen anybody who has it say it "sucks."
We're constantly working on new things and improving our maps. Data logs, dyno numbers, dragy times, 1/2 mile NFZ and Shift sector runs under our belt to show for development... I don't see Dinan or any other "Flash" tuner coming out there competing with us  https://www.burgermotorsports.com/co...-e63-gts-tuner |

Dinan is just big $$ for little gains. They can't even compare to the JB4 system we have.

I checked out you website and seen that you provided dyno numbers with a air intake, but I could not find those intakes on your site. Do you have a link to those intakes?
We should have them up on our site for retail sale in about 2 weeks. Full intake system, with heat shields etc. |

Agreed !! I decided Dinan over JB4. I googled both products, can not find any negatives feedback about Dinan Elite tuned. The only bad feedback was the price. As for JB4, I actually like it more over the Dinan because of all the features allow user to adjust and the price is half price compared to Dinan. I was leaning toward JB4 from day 1. But since then, I decided to go with Dinan because of many negatives feedback issues on JB4 after installation. JB4 did resolved all those issues but I don’t want to take that chance. I just want a plug-n-play tuned. Just my opinion.
