I let go of the brake in 3 seconds but I could hold it longer. Watch the video again...

here I held it for about 5 seconds: https://vm.tiktok.com/KN7X4q/

Yeah, that’d be perfect for pre pass clean/heat up on some DRs. Now just to test it on my car.....and get the wheels n tires hahah.

Just wanted to put together this hidden/secret user manual for those who have been asking me on social media and here on how I was able to do standstill burnout on MY 19 coupe...
Since Sport, Sport+, and Race mode activate launch control with certain conditions, standstill burnout only makes it possible under Individual mode with below "Individual Configurations" and TC all the way OFF:

  1. Left foot on brake pedal
  2. Right foot all the way on gas pedal
  3. Turn steering wheel left/right (to cancel race mode/launch control)
  4. Watch and smell the rubber burn
  5. Enjoy.

Thanks for letting us know. Do the type of tires you use matter? I am asking because I have the facelift model and I am having difficulty letting it do even a small burnout.
Does anyone have a similar issue? I really appreciate it

Car has enough power and torque and type of tires should not matter even though I have after market wheels and tires (Toyo Proxes 4 plus). Can you shoot a video with the steps you're trying so I can spot the issue.

Honestly I haven't heard/seen any C63s achieving this yet. Even AMG instructors during AMG academy didn't have an answer to this until I was able figure it out myself...

I’ve followed those steps on my 2019 C63s but it didn’t work. The engine break in period hasn’t finished yet, could that be why it’s not working?
Do you have a video showing how you did it on your car??

ummmm if your car is not thru breakin period yet, why would you even try this ??
guess you want to see how long your car will stay and keep going to the shop ?

Yeah not a good idea to try this or abusing the engine during break-in period if you have a bit knowledge or respect towards these cars. Be patient for the first 1000 miles then gradually increase power output. I’d try this after 1500 miles driven at least.
