Feedback on handheld tuners

Thinking of getting a handheld tuner (Velos or similar) for my 2019 C63.
Used this setup on a couple of Nissan GTRs successfully.
i am wondering, those of you that have done this, can you feel a noticeable difference in mid range acceleration in street driving (seat of the pants).
i do not plan to track the car at all.
I also have an AMG GTC and notice it has significantly more pull than the C 63. Am trying to duplicate that in this car.
Also wondering if you have had any issues with the tunes eg. Check engine lights, roughness, stalling etc. I use the car daily and need it to be reliable.
How easy have you found it to put the stock tune back in the car for taking it to the dealer?
Thanks.

While I think you can maximize the performance of your engine please keep in mind that gtc has slightly different turbos and is a lighter car.

I'm in the same boat as you. Not sure if I should get a handheld tuner or just drive up to LA and have one of the companies up there do it. The only real benefit I see to a handheld is the ability to take the tune off yourself if you need to go in for service.

There are a lot of great flash tunes out there, just be aware re-flashing the car is always detectable even if flashed back to stock. If it's under warranty or a lease be aware of the risks involved.

very easy to use and yes it will increase the output for sure You won’t have any issues we have done thousands of them.

going back to stock only takes a few minutes. Let me know if you have any questions we have a pretty stout sale right now and also have our own engine protection warranty

There are various states of success in the ECU flash tune market. Different manufactures different tunes. Not all are equal. It takes a lot of time, knowledge and reasearch to come up with a successful ECU map that still maintains a flexibility in all driving conditions plus a significant performance increase. You usually get what you pay for, sometimes not. I would never modify an ECU if I couldn't flash it back to the original tune - what if you don't like the result?
