Eurocharged Tune

Anyone with the eurocharged tune have occasional jerkiness when the RPMs increase between 2000-2500?

i have the stage 1 tune on a 2015 c63s and only notice it when accelerating through the 2000 to 2500 rpm range.

You need to introduce yourself to the W204 crowd. They've been having issues with the latest version of EC software also.

Your first mistake was going with eurocharged. I made the same mistake but removed the crappy tune and went with Renntech.

Curious, WHAT exact differenced did you notice when you swapped tune? Just asking because I want to know if it was FASTER, better driving, MAJORLY Noticeable? I have EC and so far it's been really good, no isses, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Renntech was much fast, more horsepower and torque. Horsepower at the wheels increased 25%; torque increased 15%. An initial dyno run before Renntech tune showed a very bumpy or wavy graph (eurocharged) reflecting a bad tune. A subsequent dyno run after the Renntech tune showed a smooth graph for both hp and torque. No comparison to performance of the car after Renntech. Horsepower of my car is now 660 and torque 640.

My EC tune pulls pretty smooth... Modern Mercedes Repair Specialist is supposed to be having a dyno day coming up... Will probably run my car on the dyno then and see how my car does. All the dfw guys should come out to it to talk shop

YES, we should ALL dyno our cars. It's cheap insurance. That we we will KNOW if our Air/Fuel Ratios are correct and to make sure we aren't running rich or lean. That would give me more peace of mind with my tune. I haven't had issues, BUT again, I have nothing to compare it to. It's faster, drives nice, no slipping like a few guys had. But I'd love to KNOW.

Also, we could DYNO Stock, then add the tune and see what it picks up. THAT would be GREAT info and would answer a lot of uncertainties.

Yes I agree; that is what I did with my Renntech tune, although during the first dyno session it had the eurocharged tune and subsequently Renntech dyno'd it after they tuned it. Also it is important to note that when dyno'd the stock hp and torque numbers will be higher than Mercedes publishes. Therefore the subsequent after tune numbers should be discounted from the stock numbers in order to arrive at the actual improvement from any tune.
