Trickle Charger Recommendations

I too get to drive my C63S only on the weekends. Is it worth using a trickle charger if you're going to use it every week? The battery usually lasts ay least three weeks or more even if the car is not used for that period of time.
For longer periods I agree that there is value in doing this.

I've used a Schumacher SSC-1500A-CA for over 2 years with our C43 and C63 S, primarily when on a trip. I've also used the charger to keep an old "now a garage resource for testing, etc." car battey charged. It's always worked perfectly, both for "raw" and trickle-charging. Note that the UI (after a few minutes, you need to press a button to get readings) is a little strange and, by the reviews, seems to confuse some people.
I bought this based upon my research and the consistent recommendations, at the time. I also gave consideration to the fact that I saw the same charger -- though it had a different brand-name on it -- being used to maintain the batteries in the showroom cars at my Mercedes dealer.
I purchased mine on Amazon and, apparently, there's now a newer model, the Schumacher SC1360.
