For the guys that have tuned their cars

I just tuned my car with DMEtuning and noticed a somewhat turbo flutter noise when i rev the car at higher RPM's. Anyone else hearing this beautiful sound as well? Setup is currently stock intake and secondary cat delete. Anyone want to chime in on how to make it more pronounce? That sound is intoxicating.

I haven’t noticed with just tune and stock intake. By turbo flutter noise do you mean atmospheric blow off valve sound?

I do get the occasional flutter down low in the RPMs when boost is ramping up, but that’s from a sticky exhaust valve actuator in the H-pipe.

Shoot and post a vid.

Hard to explain it, but it does sound like the turbo flutter without the ts-ts-ts-ts noise. Just one long Tsssssss, but not the same as the BOV adapters people have where it sounds like someone is exhaling. It's definitely where the turbos/intakes are and not the exhaust.

How many miles with the tune and how heavy have you been on the accelerator? Any chance it's a turbo going out?

Is it when you let off the throttle? If so, it's probably just the bypass valve releasing pressure and it's more noticeable because there's more boost with the tune.

That sound is your turbo blow off valves. I have the same sound on my tuned car.
