Carbahn’s camber kit

Has anyone installed this camber kit from Carbahn? For now, only 3 (Carbahn, F1 and Kmac) companies make camber kit for our car. K-Mac seem to be hit and miss with squeaking issues, F1 look cheap in design and Carbahn is Oem design. For me, I have decided to go with Carbahn. Got an appointment on the 16th to have done. Feel free to give me your opinion good or bad.

I emailed them a few weeks ago and never got a response back . I'm curious as well as I have the Kmac's and not overly thrilled with them as they squeak . These are pricey but please let us know how they feel after you've driven on them

I would not be able to deal with the squeak too. As for the price, it actually cheaper for me to go with Carbahn compared to K-Mac. Kmac parts front and rear is about $900 and labors/alignment is about $1200 = $2100. I only pay $1350 for parts, labors and 4 wheels alignment with shimming in the rear. The down side for me is, I have to drive 7 hrs to the shop up north. Don’t email them. Call Chris on their website directly if you need more infos

Designing, creating new products to cater for OEM shortcomings does create controversy !

The W205, C63/S OEM only has front and rear TOE "directional" adjustment. For the Front we therefore manufacture lower arm adjustable bush kit that provides up to 1.5 degree Camber change Positive or Negative (5 times that of the one offset position fluted bolts).

It is precise single wrench adjustable (under load - direct on alignment rack).

Includes replacement bushes for the forward facing thrust arms. Providing also precise adjustment of 'Caster' to compensate for the new Camber facility!

Have also incorporated into these thrust arm bushings Mono ball/2 Axis design.

Eliminating the OEM soft rubber, oil and air voids. Resulting in significant improvement to brake and steering response.

Similar to spherical bearings but without the downside of the wafer thin Teflon liners that soon pound out. KMAC design having 2.5 times the impact and load bearing area.

Re squeak issues we have designed kits for virtual lifetime, noiseless, maintenance free operation. Reviewing any issues always comes back to a mount not fully tight. Kits now include fail safe lock system where impossible for a mount to inadvertently loosen.

Second issue is at time of adjusting the large diameter Caster bushings occasions where if forced center could separate.

It's all about constant ongoing development. So current design have also made this bullet proof - now impossible for centers to separate.

Also manufactured for the front of the C63/S are replacement 'Upper Wishbone Arms'. Not fabricated, welded steel but the security of OEM Hi strength forged alloy design.

Precisely Camber and Caster adjustable up to 2.5 degrees extra Positive or Negative.

Along with a separate upper arm adjustment kit - this again precisely Camber and Caster adjustable (up to 1.5 degrees Pos or Neg)

This kit also for security uses the "existing OEM" arms. Replacing the inner bushings Fast fit, designed so no need for special tools or arm removal.

For the rear lower arm bush adjuster kit for Camber (up to 1.5 degrees Positive or Negative). This rear kit including extra 'Toe' adjustment to compensate for the new Camber facility.

Another kit manufatured is 'Uprated Bushings' for the 6 rear multi link arms - less rear end flex/twist, loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change/overtake

Your products is one the best out there. I was willing spend the money for your products with the "condition". It funny that when I asked him about K-mac products.
He highly recommended it. I then asked him about the squeak issues. He agreed that it the installer at fault but then when I agreed to spend $2500 for the job with "condition", he back out.
