Got a chance to check out my new spare!
So Friday after work I noticed my left rear tire was 10 psi low. Put air in at local Discount Tire...we checked by rolling and looking and the guy did not see anything. So I ran a few errands and by the time I got home it actually lost 2 psi...not good. When I got home I pumped it up to 45 over night with plans to go to my local Discount Tire in the morning. Woke up and it was around 33psi...slow leak for sure.
Had a nail and it tore up the sidewall also...Dang. They had to order me a new tire and so they installed my spare (see my post here where I explained the spare I found for our cars https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...blem-c63s.html)
Spare went on no problem and I ran some errands while my tires came in...it rode very nice and doesn't look 1/2 bad on the car. This thing works GREAT!!!

The question is ... will it fit the front with the big AMG 6 pistons brake caliper? If it fit, I would definitely get one. As for get a jack, tools ... etc. Don’t need one. Just call roadside assistance to change it out for you. 😄

I also fit everything needed to change the wheel out on the road into a messenger bag that fits nicely behind the passenger seat pushed all the way back (no one allowed to sit in my back seats).
This way I don't have to wait 4 hrs for a flat bed if I am out on a mountain run and get a flat.
I realize everyone has their own approach to things but where I live (Phoenix area) there are a lot of cool roads but most are out in the middle of nowhere so if you got a flat you are sitting for hours waiting on a flat bed.
Just not a position I want to be in.
