Tire Size

Just wanted to report for anyone out there with the 19” 5-spoke AMG front + rears that 275/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear works great! Went to PS4S’ from my extremely ****ty Contisports. No rubbing, plenty of traction, even going over bumps feels better. My tire shop inflated to 34 all around even after telling them to go 33 front 32 rear. I had to drive for a few minutes to get the tire pressure to show so couldn’t tell them to adjust it, will have to do it myself later.

Since I had a hard time finding posts covering whether I could go 275/305 on my 19/19’s I figured I’d make this post. Hopefully it helps someone.

You have a coupe or sedan?
Hows it hooking up vs before? Any wheel spin on 2nd gear? Or 3rd?

2018 coupe. Haven’t gone too crazy since i just had them put on yesterday but so far hooks quickly in 1 and no noticeable wheelspin beyond that. I’ll warm everything up and try some WOT today.

I have a sedan and don’t think anyone has 305 rear with 19s. I know some of the coupe have 19 and 20 rears.
Next I will go 295 rear, 275 fronts probably AS 3+ because ny weather and I drive all year round.

Good to know it works without issue as that's what I'm going to put on once I need new tires. Are you running any spacers?

What width are 19" coupe wheels? Are they cross spokes?

Nice OP. I just ordered a new set of PS4s for the rear 295/30/20 to replace my worn set. I can't fit 305s bc i'll rub too much with my wheel setup/lowered height.

Right, assume you can go 305 rear with 18” OEM on c63 non S, as 18s would not clear the brakes on S model.

I have the forged cross spokes on mine. They're 19x9 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear.

You guys think I'd be able to go 275 front 305 rears on my 2020 C63s Coupe? I have the staggered 19 front 20 rear setup. I currently have Cup 2s installed in stock size (255 front, 285 rear) I really like the Cup 2s, especially after they break in and weather is warmer now than when it was cold when I picked up the car. Just a matter of how many miles I can get out of the Cup 2s, if I gotta replace them at 10k miles then prob going PS4s lol.

Thinking 275f 305r setup would look pretty good on the car.

Yeah, that's been done before. So basically for the record you can run 275 / 305 on any of the stock W205 coupes. Just make sure to inform the shop to deflate to 33 / 32 and you won't have any problems with rubbing. But even at 34 all around right now I've not had any rubbing.

Nice, no rubbing even when the tires heat up and the tire pressure increases? I run my tires 33 rear, 35 front but when the tires get hot the fronts get around 40-42 and the rears around 36-38 psi.

So I drove around for a good hour today with no rubbing and it was 93 here in Houston
