C63 Wheel Questions

I'm new to the forum and Mercedes in general. I will be picking up a 2016 C63 (non S) sedan on Monday, pic below. It has the OEM 18" rims, and the previous owner put winter tires on them. Since I'm from Toronto (Canada), and we get snow/cold temps, I'm going to retain the 18" as my winter wheels.

I need to get myself a set of 19's or maybe even 20's with summer tires. I've done a lot of reading about tire size combinations that work, and will likely settle on 255-265 tire paired with a 9-9.5" wide wheel in the front, and 285-295 tire with a 10-10.5" wide wheel in the rear. Few things I was hoping I some folks to chime in on
  • One thing I haven't read much about is wheel offsets, what are suitable offsets for both front and rear
  • What are some good choices/options on wheels (I know this is a very individual opinion)?
I will, at some point in the future, lower the car, and I don't want issues with rubbing, but would like the wheels/tires to sit relatively flush with the fender. One of the wheel/tire shops suggested the following:
Vorsteiner V-FF 107
Front - 20 x 9 +35 offset with 265/30/20
Rear - 20 x 10 +42 offset with 295/25/20 (with the OEM offset at +56, I'm concerned this combination will poke out too much, as it 1.15" further out than stock)

Shout out to RDO247 who's post come up in nearly every thread I've read so far; thanks for the wealth of information you've contributed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, that car looks like it has been lowered.

See if you can pick up a set of OEM forged cross spoke wheels, They look sweet and they’re fairly light.

I have 20x9.5 +35 and 20x10.5 +57 on 265/30 and 285/30. Also lowered in KW HAS. It’s not much room left but no rub. I would not recommend the smaller offset Vorsteiner with 295’s. When it comes to wheels...well there are too many brands to recommend - depends what style you like and how deep your pockets are. But for sure I would only pick a forged or flow forged wheel type. I looked a lot around and settled on BC forged but there are many out there. I was going to use Rays/Volk but decided on the BC forged 2 piece.

tobeit - what kind of rear spoiler is that? Also, great stance on your car, how much of a drop are you running?

The spoiler is PSM dynamics. Not sure about drop as I did not measure before but after it’s 13.2” front and 13.5” rear.

some more pics
