I mean its pretty simple, take your phone and open some of the apps and that's exactly as they behave in the Carplay system. Waze is great, Google Maps & also Siri is a great plus! I recommend Carplay whole heartedly

I have the wireless charger and the wireless carplay dongle.
If you're willing to give up about 30 seconds for it to connect, and maybe a connection issue once a week, its great.
I HATE having cables hanging around the car.

I'd say regardless of the car you have, whatever you have to go through, its worth it to get carplay, wireless or not.
The only reason I got it was so I could have navigation and music up on the screen at the same time and just for that its worth it. Also, since its Apple, the feature set is always expanding.
