I used to have a whining/high pitch noise coming from the engine bay. That's now gone after the AMG Drive Unit update.
No. I never recieved an official letter regarding ESP software update. I became aware of an upcoming software update was on this site a few months ago. Also, Carfax notified me by via email of an outstanding software update.
