Dealer Offered Me 35,000 Canadian
I am just finishing the rear original tires that came on the car. Clearly I don't drive it hard enough.
I also bought the extended warranty til July 2021.
Not sure what the market is on the W205 but still a tad surprised this car has dropped more than 70% in five years.
I know AMGs drop a lot, but I kind thought maybe the car had gone from 100K to maybe 50K. But 35K was a bit of a shock. Even they know I drive it like a little old lady. I am not sure why I keep buying these cars as honestly, I don't really use them to their potential. I just like having the power, the power to hit the gas and get out of a situation. I like the better brakes, the solid build, and the sound. I just don't really use them like I should.
When I bought the car in July 2015 they suggested right away buying extra rear tires. Being in Canada, I switch from summer to winter. So I probably have like 30,000 K on the summers, and only next year will I need to replace the rears. And the winter rears, the originals, will only be replaced when I get my snow tires on in a few weeks.
IU'm just curious what the market is like at the moment as I may buy a new car in the nesxt six months and trade this in. I love the car. I just think its time for something new.
