Like you im also in the market, ive noticed the C63s don't move too well and stay at dealerships lots for quite a while. Like any car, usually after a few months if it doesn't sell at the merc dealer, the cars are sent to auction and a non merc dealer will pick it up at wholesale or below. I saw a similar car like this at vroom for 67K which maybe on their site right now.
This car though could have been a lease turn in to a different division of this dealership or moved about within its family of dealerships as well. But as someone else stated before it could be as simple as a dealer taking over a lease.

but if it was a purchased car, you can take it, trade it, etc to the dealer or person giving you the most value in return.

If it was a lease and it was on MBFS , then it would go back to MB for check in, and then possibly put in inventory or sent to auction or dealer traded..
but if it was a purchased car, you can take it, trade it, etc to the dealer or person giving you the most value in return.
