Is this a good deal on a 2021 C63s Coupe?

With new inventory thin nationwide, I shopped several dealers as my city only has one coupe left and it’s not the color I want. I found less than a handful of coupes in my first color choice (diamond white).

I was able to find one listed at a Benz dealer across the country, MSRP $91.4K. The car is about to ship from port in Germany, dealer is giving 1 month lead time but I’m assuming that really means 2-3. I was able to get almost 2% off MSRP. It has as all the goodies I want.. HUD, cf interior trim, driver assist, parking assist, multimedia package, wireless charging, ventilated seats are the main ones I would have ordered in a 2022 if I went that route. What I don’t care for are the black 20/19 cross spoke rims and night package. I’m not a fan of black rims or too much black trim on a white car. I would’ve gone with the silver cross spoke instead. But these are not major issues as I will eventually be upgrading the rims later on and I can swap the exhaust tips for chrome ones.

So what do you 2020/2021 owners think, given the supply chain issues were you guys able to negotiate more than 2% off MSRP? Some of the Cali dealers are marking up $5k above MSRP and are pretty firm.

I was able to get a little over 3% off MSRP on my 2021 C63s 2.5 months ago using nothing more than TrueCar (I actually did it twice, once for the C63s and once for the C43) - so yes 2% certainly isn't bad, especially since there are very few available.

2% off is good right now. My dealer here in NY told me that people are now offering over sticker. Someone offered them $2k over msrp for the C300 convertible. Crazy times..

In today market, that’s a good deal but for my without the performance seat is a deal breaker. The look between the standard seat and performance seat us day and night.

I think 2% in the current market is good. Last Saturday I got just under a 2% discount on my ‘21 c63s but also got about $6,000 more than expected on my trade (2017 911 Carrera)..basically what I paid for the car 2years and 25k miles ago.

When you find what you like, you have to act fast. Good luck in your search and purchase. I did go white with black wheels, night package, etc…looks really good (to me anyway) in person. And the performance seats are everything!

You did really well, congrats! I’ve seen your videos, your C63s is an absolute beast.

I can get why a lot of people love the performance seats, but I actually like the regular seats better. TBH even if they were just a $500 option instead of $2500, I probably wouldn’t get them.

That’s awesome you got what you paid on your 4 year old Porsche. It’s a crazy seller’s market out there. A friend of mine bought a 2013 CLS 63 AMG a couple years ago for $30k, he was offered upper $30’s for the car but isn’t selling.

If I do get this 2021 diamond white one, I’ll be swapping out the black wheels and exhaust tips for silver. My other option is to gamble and order a 2022 diamond white minus the night package and black wheels and hope it arrives with all the options in my buildout. Tough decision!

I don't know what your long term plans for this car are, but we all know this is the last C63 with a V8. In the future a car like this will be a unicorn. If it were me, I wouldn't stress over an extra percentage or two off MSRP. I wouldn't let a car like this get a way over a few thousand dollars.

I plan to keep it at least a decade. Maybe 2 haha. My dilemma wasn’t so much price, but should I gamble on ordering a 2022 with the exact options I wanted and hope it arrived built to spec. I decided to play it safe and put down a deposit on this 2021. It’s already built and waiting for a ship to be assigned. I can hardly wait!

I got 20K for a 2014 Dodge RAM1500 ECO diesel on my trade in for my 2021 C63. I paid MSRP and my car was brought in from another dealer. The used car market, especially trucks is super crazy right now! KBB has my truck top of the range is18K, so while I may not have gotten a below MSRP, but I got more than what I could have sold my truck for-Happy!
