Wind noise
Hi,
Been having wind noises & creaking sounds around door cards on my w205 C63S Coupe. I read about the laminated acoustic glass replacement which helps reduce the wind noise and would like to confirm if the part nos. A2057252300 & A2057251800 are the correct ones for my car. Your replies are much appreciated.

I don't know if your car should have it in the front already. If you roll down the front door windows partially, you should see layers at the top edge of the glass, along with a center valley.
If you have this, it's the acoustic glass already, and most likely your wind noises are at a seam / seal area.
If your glass is a rounded single pane edge, then you'll need to order them. I'm not sure on the PN's.

One thing to be aware of with the acoustic glass is that the tint is slightly lighter than the solid, original windows. I picked up a pair for the front and you can see a slight difference compared to the rear on my sedan, but don't know that anyone else would know if you didn't tell them. I called around trying to find a super light tint that might help it better match the rear but I think there is a risk of making the mismatch worse and some tinting places don't mess with the super light tint. I've got the passenger side window installed but am working on aftermarket speakers so still have the door panel off so can't provide solid feedback on the sound suppression. I'll try to remember to come back to this thread and share feedback once I've got the door panel back on.
