C63 massage seat retrofit?

I've heard standard c63 seats have the ability to retrofit this feature where the side busters tighten you in. Apparantly it's just a case of wiring loom addition and coding. Anybody else familiar with it?

I doubt that. The massage function is only available with the active multicontour seats. The standard seats in the C63 don't have air bladders in the side bolsters, nor would that be massage if they had it. The massage function requires air bladders in the seat back to massage your back, not squeeze you in from the side. The AMG Performance Seats have inflatable side bolsters, but no massage function.

I may have been mistaken for the actual seats name, it maybe the inflatable side busters on the amg performance seats. A retrofitter said he did it with a loom took about an 1hour of install and then just simple coding.

I'm not entirely sure why you'd want to do this. I have the AMG Performance Seats and inflating the side bolsters does not even remotely mimic a massage. What it does is narrow the seat, so you are held in place better, but even if it were the pulsate, that's not a massage. They inflate and deflate rather slowly and simply put pressure on your side. Not sure what massage you've been to, but that's not a massage

Sorry I've been mistaken, but yes that's what I'm looking for inflating side bolsters, can you leave them tightened in one position? My 120d can adjust the side bulsters and it's honestly a great feature to keep you tucked in.

Yes, you can. You inflate them and they stay there. I agree, it's indeed a great feature. For comfort I leave mine deflated for normal driving. The seats still hold me in place well at normal speeds, and I fully inflate them when I hit up a fun curvy road. For the driver seat, both the side bolsters of the seat cushion for your legs and the side bolsters of the seat backrest for your torso can be independently inflated. For the passenger seat, only the side bolsters of the seat backrest can be inflated.

That's good to hear now I'll be on the hunt for parts and modules to retrofit it.

*****I have the sport seats on my C63s and absolutely love them, and their adjustability. I'm a skinny, semi-anorexical looking dude and the seats fit me really really well. I have 5 fat friends, and my best friend is like 4 of them, and he really can't fit well in the sport seats in my car, even with the bolsters completely deflated. I've sat in other cars with "sport" type seats and their range of adjustability and overall comfort for a guy my size is not the same. I've sat in some of the late model Benz SUV's and their regular seats are more in line with what most people are used to I think - just wide and comfy.

I don't see how any type of wiring could make those air bladders into any kind of massage per se, and it would look somewhat ghetto (to me anyway) to put on one of those cheap massage seat toppers you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond or on Amazon's top Xmas gifts for grandmas aching arthritic back, etc.. on top of the nice sport seats, but uhhh...different strokes for different folks I guess...
