Has the 2020 C63s Cabriolet I bought last year actually held onto its value??
When I bought it last year, I presumed (and braced for) a rapid depreciation.
But it hasn't been all that rapid has it? I'm embarrassed to say that I've only put 3k miles on it, so I'm curious -- what's it worth now, in the American market?

What someone is willing to pay for it. NADA, Kelly etc. do not represent the real market values for the last year or 2 due to the weird times we have been in with COVID, logistics and supply issues, parts avail etc. When I traded in my 2014 truck mid year for my 21 C63, the MB dealer gave me almost 8K more than Kelly or NADA said the truck was worth. I was blown away as it was a driven truck with 110K miles on it, albeit a diesel. Honestly, I bet you might do better on trade in right now than selling it irt holding value.

I just sold my 2017 c63s for 65k. Dealer was asking 65k 17 months ago while we were in lock down still and they didn't want to sit on the car. I got lucky and bought it for 58k.
Should of bought the 2018 gts they had for 86k as those are north of 100k or the gtr they were letting go for 138k
My car had every single option including carbon breaks. I say sell it and get an sl63

The problem is whatever you gonna replace it with will likely command a market adjustment above MSRP, or crazy high used car prices, if you can even find what you are looking for. Great times to sell and wait it out, but otherwise you are in a sell high buy high situation.

I've toyed with the idea of letting the 63 go but as it's been mentioned I'd have to wait a while to replace it. I did just get a new truck and surprisingly got a pretty good deal on it, but I need something fun in the garage.

Ain't that the truth, I let my wife know frequently that she should've let me pull the trigger on the GTS I was going to purchase for $72k as it's a $100k car now....
