I just need 3 brackets… crying inside:/

I bought a used exhaust unit and I noticed it didn’t have the exhaust actuator brackets, the previous owner doesn’t have them (cool guy actually) so I’m stuck on making them myself or possibly buying them from the original manufacturer. (I can’t apparently)
this sucks tho I’ve gotten used HKS exhausts with missing pieces back in the day I would contact either a U.S rep or Japan rep and they’ll be more than happy to invoice me and ship me the parts I need.
seriously tho.. I just need 3! Brackets! Lol

Are those just the brackets for the hanger? If so, you'll be able to get those brackets made by the looks of it and it'll be worth it in the end.
Was actually considering a GruppeM exhaust before I got my Akra.
What you could do is stick 30kg of explosives to it and blow it up like the Tesla guy and record it, might get a better response from them 🤣

second, the exhaust does infact have a serial number but they didn’t care regardless of me sending them photos of the unit that I have.
with all my tears gathered up.. I’ve bought a couple 6061 24”x24” aluminum sheets to make the brackets myself. I had a feeling this was going to go this way lol

As someone who has had to fabricate things before for HP applications on other cars - read the next part carefully.... So you don't have to go back and forth experimenting a zillion times once it is all mounted - best to figure out a way to energize an actuator off the car with a power supply and make sure the actuator moves the flap properly and with no binding, etc.. It will be exponentially harder to see all of this on the car once it is all installed so figure it all out with the exhaust still on the ground or on a bench, etc.. It will save you *many* hours if you do this versus trying to figure out alignment in the confined space where those mufflers go on our cars.
The first mount will take the longest and after that one is done, it will be much easier. Good luck.
