2018 C63 brake pads. Cost/Quality

Im supposed to get new brake pads installed tomorrow
although if I really wanted to, i could do it myself, but I don't mind paying for 2 hours of labor so I don't have to worry about it

OEM pads and sensors come out to around $1000 ?
is that right? Are there any aftermarket options that are much cheaper?

If the OEM are far superior, then I dont mind paying. Just thought Id check with the experts here first

I use Porterfield's R-4S (AP1669/AP1291 for front and rear/red calipers) and they cost $470 all together + (2) $17 sensors one for each axle...they work great and a little less dust than OEM. I am on my 3rd set.

I paid around 400 for font brakes last time I did them. Seems relatively close.

No, but you can contact Porterfield and they will let you know what they have. Their customer support is on point.

im on m y first set of porterfields. i like the fact that they are more quiet than the stock brembos but the brembos braking performance is superior to porterfields. You dont get that much of an initial bite on the porterfields but i would still buy again because they are more quiet.
