c63s lose power
Hey guys my car is a c63s sedan from 2016 with 62000 mileages. Yesterday I was on a street road with the speed about 40mph. I was trying to accelerate and just after I push the gas pedal, the car lost all the power suddenly for like 1-2 seconds. I released the pedal and push it back then it accelerated fine. However, after that I found that the car is not powerful as usual anymore. It just feel like 100-150 HP less than before. There is no strange noise and also no shaking on engine, transmission goes smooth as well. I did a self inspection and there is no error code at all. I dropped off my car at a Mercedes dealer this morning and they just said everything works fine on my car after they did their inspection. Does anyone got the same issue before?

******Could be a lot of things of course. I'd pull a couple of spark plugs out and inspect them at a minimum for evidence of a sick motor or pre-ignition.detonation, etc.. as well as check fluids for evidence of damage (oil/trans fluid, coolant, etc..). Could be coil packs, or issues related to the waste gates on the turbochargers, or mechanical issues from wear on the turbochargers or damage to the turbine blades, etc.. These cars are quite complicated and there are a bunch of feedback loops that may not necessarily throw a code out.
A decent mechanic should be able to narrow your problem down quickly. A not decent mechanic will give you back your car and tell you there is no error code and your car works fine even if you know it does not. Find a better mechanic.

*****Yea. This is a great point and very easy to check. Definitely a possibility on these cars, especially one with some miles on it. If this is the problem, as far as fixes go it is very easy versus tearing into engine and pulling plugs, coils, etc.. The flap solenoids on the Benz are identical to other non Benz cars (Ford, Audi, etc..), and can be purchased *much* cheaper than the Benz branded ones. The Ford or Audi ones work well and integrate perfectly with the electronic switch for performance exhaust in the car. Only difference seems to be one is sold as a Mercedes part with its usual sometimes crazy mark ups.

Well, my mechanic did another diagnosis for me and he got the same result with Mercedes dealer. He told me he checked spark plugs, turbos then all the fluids and didn't find anything wrong with my car. Both engine and transmission are in good condition and there is no issues with the exhaust system. He said there is nothing I can do before a bigger issue comes out
