Anyone have red Star catted DP (200 cell) on FL (2019+)
Hello all. I currently have modalworks catted DP with 200 cell cats. I got a CEL, but no CEL with mini-cat spacers. So perfectly fine for every day/spirited driving. Unfortunately, the mini-cats do not last long with track use, so looking at a more durable option for catted DP, no tune.
Per Red Star, they no longer offer the 300 cell cats for facelift (they state they would still throw CEL), but they say that there is no CEL with the HJS 200 cell cats. The other option is GESI 400 cell cats. Doesn't quite make sense, but my question if anyone is running the 200 cell cats and able to run without a tune/mini-cats to avoid CEL?

There was another member here who had Red Star with HJS 200 cell cats. He reported that it triggered CEL.
Mine with GESI 300 cell cats and no spacers threw CEL only once during the 2 years of ownership (about 12,000 miles on them).
It happened when I accelerated hard in RACE mode during semi-cold weather, so it is more than likely you will get CEL during track day.
I cleared the code using generic OBDII tool and CEL never came back afterward for daily and occasional spirited driving.
GESI 400 cell will probably never throw CEL no matter the driving condition as noted by Red Star.
