Received some parts in the mail finally, noticed on the CF truck spoiler / lip there were two holes located at the center of the lip. Are these meant to be mounting holes? I assume they were created during the manufacturing process and arent used for installation, as the recommended installation process is with double sided tape. (see image for details)
That’s not mounting holes since there’s only 2. It would have 4-6 holes if design to mount with screws. No one mount it with s screws anyway. Double side tape work great.

*****You use double sided tape and not screws (especially NOT long wood screws or drywall screws - those are both reserved for spoilers made of wood...)
That being said, mebbe the pic is bad but the finish on that spoiler looks *terrible*. Bad clearcoat or bad finish sanding, etc... Pic below of a properly clear coated and sanded/prepped spoiler. A good clear coat with some UV protection will keep the carbon from yellowing and looking like crap in a year if it is out in the sun, or just exposed to sunlight driving around, etc..
