Catless Downpipe + Aftermarket Exhaust ?
Anyone go from a Catless Downpipe + AMG PE setup to a Catless Downpipe + Aftermarket exhaust?
if so any aftermarket market exhaust brand recommendations ? Would the exhaust tone be noticeably different with a Catless Downpipe + Aftermarket exhaust vs AMG PE ?
Am running a Catless Downpipe + AMG PE with the valves always open…the engine & exhaust note is nice but I wish it were a little louder and more throaty/aggressive. I don’t care about Pops and Bangs - have removed them completely with my tune just looking for a more aggressive exhaust note from the V8.

I went from Catless DP's + Perf Exhaust to cutting the Perf Exhaust Mufflers all the way off. So basically its 100% valves open all the time and reversible if needed.
AWE catback exhaust/full exhaust was way too overpriced when I can call my local guy to weld in a 9-10 inch piece of pipe for $150.
Cold Start is much much louder, full throttle is loud af, quiet cruising under 3000RPM, pretty quiet at idle, no drone.

*****I have larger turbos, secondary cat delete down pipes, and the PE AMG exhaust and the car is *plenty* loud versus stock. I can't imagine being totally cat less and no mufflers. I have some other platforms, turbocharged as well, with no cats and no mufflers and they sound (heck they are..) like a race car. Around my area, cops will give you an inspection ticket if the car is too loud.
Currently my Benz as it is set up is loud AF at full throttle. I'm happy when I'm driving my #1 or #2-5 girl that I can use the valves to quiet it down. The car doesn't drone, but the women sometimes do so that's why I keep the valves working to quiet or make things louder again.
