C63 AMG at Dealer Basic Maintenance (Is this Fair??)

Just checking in because I usually shop around a little, but also want convenience. Have a 2017 C63 AMG with 38K Miles had Brake Pad Light on for 2 months, don't drive much. Also needed Oil Change and of course they found a few other things. Been in Loaner Car for 5 days too
Prices seem OK? But some I am not sure, like do I NEED Mercedes Battery for $375, and $495 brake pads?? Haven't done work yet, but is this fair. I GET I am at the dealer, but looking around prices were close going some regular shop.

Work on Estimate:
-B Service (last time just got oil change) $325 TOTAL

-Main Battery/Aux Battery Replacement $295 Parts $79 Labor= $375 TOTAL

- Rear brake Pads $490.46 + $224 Labor = $714 Total

(Have Pilot Sports NOW, asked to confirm there are for Pilot Sports)
- (1) Front Michelin 245/40ZR18 $250 Parts + $50 Labor= $300 Total

-(2) Rear Michelin 265/40ZR18 $250 Parts + $50 Labor $722 + $100 Labor = $830 Total

Thoughts???

2019 C63s
South Florida, 2019 C63s and here were my estimates:

service B (30k miles) = $1300

New rear brake pads + tires = $3200

I paid for the service B because I'm under CPO warranty. Bought my own brakes + tires (pilot sport 4s) and had my local shop fit them which cost $120 + $800 + $300

I really appreciate the response! I WAS under warranty which was great and got free front pads (mine was under recall) and a lot fo other things so I was happy!

I am NOT on warranty anymore, so it's not as fun! Also I THINK I am getting B Service! It's the one with the Oil Change.

After seeing your quotes (thanks again) do you think I should do it all? Anything stick out in terms of being a RIP OFF? ..............................OF course I can get better brake pads and buy a battery myself, but I am not interested in the hassle. MY C63 is also Tuned Eurocharged, Took off before I went there.

Also my car is 7 months out of inspection which they are doing, MY Tires PASS now, and I know I could drive on them MAYBE another 10 months, or more? BUT, I DO technically need them.

I am, likely doing it!

I would double-check and make sure they're doing a full B service which includes an oil change and a brake fluid flush. $325 at a dealership sounds really low, but about right for an indy shop. I would expect it to be at least $600-700 at the dealership.

It's sure convenient having a loaner especially if it's your only car.
Attached is work done for Service B. I always get wiper blades replaced. Also 3 years,/30,000miles engine air filters replaced.

Thanks so much everyone, appreciate it. This is being done at a Big Dealer and my service guy is cool. When I was under warranty I went more often. I haven't been in 18 months since warranty ran out. I will CHECK, andI don't have the B Service on my Quote, he told me when I was with him in his office and again on the phone, but I KNOW it was in the $300 range.

For B SEREVICE- Besides the Oil Change, Brake Fluid Swap, and Cab Air Filter) the rest doesn't consist of much, just looking at things. I replaced Cabin AF 1-time myself, not fun, but I did it and GLAD they are doing it this time. I always just replace my 2 engine air filters myself whenever I think about it.

The MAIN reason I was there was to get brake Pads (OR get the light off which turned out to be Rear Pads) so they had to do the brakes anyway.

I confirmed Tires are PILOT SPORTS just like I have now, so I am 100% Happy with tire prices.

The ONLY THING I messaged my Maintenance Guy was, " I KNOW this is Mercedes, but $703 seems high to put on 2 Brake Pads?? He said I will see what I can do. I didn't SAY ANYTHING, but the $375 for anew battery seemed HIGH, but who knows?? I looked them up and they are $300 online if you buy the OEM. So I was like, OK.

Car is 8 months out of inspection and I am in TEXAS. So I think they will inspect it, but I still have to go somewhere else to get the actual sticker? Took my EC TUNE OFF before I hit the dealer and from past experience, my Car will NOT PASS Inspection if the TUNE Program is on the car, it fails the emission part. Then, I take it off, and it passes.

They are slow at this dealer (Dropped off SAT and today is THURSDAY) and not ready yet , BUT I am FINE I have a GLC SUV Loaner and any new car is fun to drive.

The way you text is pretty funny it reads like an advertisement lol. But ya those prices seem reasonable imo.

I bought Porterfield R4-S brake pads from EuroZone tuning and I would recommend them, they seem to produce less dust and squeal less than the OEMs so far, they were like $120 or so incl. delivery (and great customer service they caught a mistake I made in ordering for the c43 vs the c63 and still had them to me on time for my service appt.).

Sorry to hear that the car is still not ready to pick up yet, glad to hear you are fine with the loaner though. As others mentioned though, the prices are correct, I do hear about coupons circulating around for Service A and B though, I am just not sure how you obtain them.

No more stickers in TX for inspection; its all electronic now. You won't be able to renew your registrations unless you have an up to date inspection.
