C63 AMG at Dealer Basic Maintenance (Is this Fair??)
Prices seem OK? But some I am not sure, like do I NEED Mercedes Battery for $375, and $495 brake pads?? Haven't done work yet, but is this fair. I GET I am at the dealer, but looking around prices were close going some regular shop.
Work on Estimate:
-B Service (last time just got oil change) $325 TOTAL
-Main Battery/Aux Battery Replacement $295 Parts $79 Labor= $375 TOTAL
- Rear brake Pads $490.46 + $224 Labor = $714 Total

(Have Pilot Sports NOW, asked to confirm there are for Pilot Sports)
- (1) Front Michelin 245/40ZR18 $250 Parts + $50 Labor= $300 Total
-(2) Rear Michelin 265/40ZR18 $250 Parts + $50 Labor $722 + $100 Labor = $830 Total
Thoughts???

service B (30k miles) = $1300
New rear brake pads + tires = $3200
I paid for the service B because I'm under CPO warranty. Bought my own brakes + tires (pilot sport 4s) and had my local shop fit them which cost $120 + $800 + $300
I am NOT on warranty anymore, so it's not as fun! Also I THINK I am getting B Service! It's the one with the Oil Change.
After seeing your quotes (thanks again) do you think I should do it all? Anything stick out in terms of being a RIP OFF? ..............................OF course I can get better brake pads and buy a battery myself, but I am not interested in the hassle. MY C63 is also Tuned Eurocharged, Took off before I went there.
Also my car is 7 months out of inspection which they are doing, MY Tires PASS now, and I know I could drive on them MAYBE another 10 months, or more? BUT, I DO technically need them.
I am, likely doing it!

Attached is work done for Service B. I always get wiper blades replaced. Also 3 years,/30,000miles engine air filters replaced.
For B SEREVICE- Besides the Oil Change, Brake Fluid Swap, and Cab Air Filter) the rest doesn't consist of much, just looking at things. I replaced Cabin AF 1-time myself, not fun, but I did it and GLAD they are doing it this time. I always just replace my 2 engine air filters myself whenever I think about it.
The MAIN reason I was there was to get brake Pads (OR get the light off which turned out to be Rear Pads) so they had to do the brakes anyway.
I confirmed Tires are PILOT SPORTS just like I have now, so I am 100% Happy with tire prices.
The ONLY THING I messaged my Maintenance Guy was, " I KNOW this is Mercedes, but $703 seems high to put on 2 Brake Pads??
He said I will see what I can do.
I didn't SAY ANYTHING, but the $375 for anew battery seemed HIGH, but who knows?? I looked them up and they are $300 online if you buy the OEM. So I was like, OK.Car is 8 months out of inspection and I am in TEXAS. So I think they will inspect it, but I still have to go somewhere else to get the actual sticker? Took my EC TUNE OFF before I hit the dealer and from past experience, my Car will NOT PASS Inspection if the TUNE Program is on the car, it fails the emission part. Then, I take it off, and it passes.
They are slow at this dealer (Dropped off SAT and today is THURSDAY) and not ready yet , BUT I am FINE I have a GLC SUV Loaner and any new car is fun to drive.

I bought Porterfield R4-S brake pads from EuroZone tuning and I would recommend them, they seem to produce less dust and squeal less than the OEMs so far, they were like $120 or so incl. delivery (and great customer service they caught a mistake I made in ordering for the c43 vs the c63 and still had them to me on time for my service appt.).
