I just somehow happened across this thread - and the same exact thing happened to me which I noticed a coupe, of weeks ago on a 2017 GLC. I seems to just have recently happened.
What I couldn't figure out was how did it occur? I can't see how anything got caught there or anything that dropped would cause that, but now that I see that literally the same thing in the same spot if happened to someone else perhaps some sort of defect in manufacture or install..
