So in my c63s Final Edition I noticed my boot won’t open hands free no matter what I do. I’ve tried every way, many times and in every part under the bumper to the point I look like a complete idiot hahahaha
Car has Keyless GO and Hand Free as listed options, but I am even thinking sensors are not installed or are faulty
As far as I know, the HANDS FREE trunk opening has been affected by the parts/chip shortage and has been missing from cars lately. Not sure what the status is, but it's been reported by others that their cars came w/o it.

Right 871 is HANDS-FREE. There's also 881 which is the electronic trunk closer. 889 and 893 are KEYLESS GO and KEYLESS START. Can you open/close the trunk from your key fob and can you close the trunk with the door switch by pushing it?
Then looks like you are just missing HANDS FREE. I'm guessing the module and/or sensor are not available at the moment. I'm assuming you have the two buttons in the trunk for closing the trunk/locking the vehicle. I'm guessing that's actually option 881.

Correct, I have all trunk options but the Hands Free 😬
Well I rather prefer not having it at all than having it and being faulty, though I had it in my PFL and was a nice feature…

That’s strange why they weren’t able to spec the Euro FE’s with this standard feature. Both the FE and non FE USA versions have the 871 HANDS FREE included. Especially when considering that the Euro FE is pretty much fully loaded.
