Scheduled "B" maintenance. Mandatory?

I just got the indication on my display that my scheduled B maintenance is almost due on my 2021 C63S Cabriolet. The kicker is that I don't drive my car too often and it only has 2,900 miles. To a fault I tend to baby the car and only do very limited spirited driving. Never even tried launching the car. With that being said, I don't think much maintenance is required. Is it mandatory that I schedule the service at this time? My biggest concern is voiding the warranty by not following this schedule. Any input would be appreciated!

I belive you can have B Service done at an Indy shop however if a careless mistake is made like forgetting to put oil in the car then you could have a problem with MB warranty.
Brake fluid (which is changed every 2 years on B Service)and engine oil both degrade over time.
I just had B Service completed in April (dealership)and don't have the invoice in front of me but believe it was just over $900 which included changing the Cabin filter and a Dust filter.
I would suggest just have it done at the MB dealership and not worry about voiding the warranty. Peace of mind. Also the get the multi point inspection sheet.

As said above. If you care about keeping your warranty, then follow the recommended service schedule. Services are due every 10k miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. B service as mentioned above includes a brake flush, because brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture over time, whether you drive the car or not. Oil also degrades over time and if you drive very little then it's also likely that you have moisture collected in the engine/oil and/or fuel contaminating the oil. During cold starts fuel condensates on the cylinder walls and drips into the oil pan for example. Normally if you drive plenty with the engine spending a lot of time above the required temperature the fuel and moisture in the oil evaporates. It's frankly even more important to regularly service a car that mostly sits around. Mechanical machines want to move, so driving a car that little isn't doing it any favors.

If I remember correctly you started the same thread when Service A was due and I probably pretty much gave you the same answer.
