Purchase at lease end
Hi everyone. I plan to purchase my AMG at lease end. My inclination is to deal directly with MB Financial Services. Is there any reason to go through a dealer instead? Any other tips from those who have gone down this path? Thanks.

2020 C63S Coupe
My friend just did it for his expiring C63s lease. It was pretty straight forward. Let MB Financial know you plan on keeping the car and they’ll send you the paper work or may refer you to your local dealership where you did the lease. If they do, worst case, they may charge you a fee for the paper work needed to transfer from a lease to a purchase. I will tell you this though, dealerships can be sneaky so make sure all your paperwork and finances are in order if you have to go through them. My friend was purchasing his lease cash and sent the local dealer the check. They purchased the car from MBUSA and had the title under their name in case there was an issue with the check and they would now own the car and flip it. They wanted the car themselves, so don’t trust them.

From my experience, don't go through a dealer, they will try to sneak in fees and services charge ($500+). Just go through MB. IIRC, it was only a flat $150. They will mail you out the documents and you just sign and send it back.
