Software Updates C63s Coupe 2022
Hello guys.

Any software update are you aware of?

I am about to take mine to the dealer and do not want to have any update that could potentially affect the sound or whatever...

You've got a 2022. Any updates that impacted the sound have already been applied

Also curious since the fe cars sound very different to fl ones. Almost similar to pfl.

Last time I checked for bulletins there was software updates for the air conditioning module, ABS module, telematics, drivers door module, and the engine and trans control module.

Was it a Euro spec FE that you heard side by side with your PFL or just a FL? The Euro spec FE’s have been confirmed to have the PFL sound by owners as well as in RBR’s YouTube video.

We don’t have any confirmation from any USA spec FE owners if they sound like PFL’s. However, while ‘23 non-FE’s don’t have the PFL sound, they do have have more pops and bangs with flaps open than ‘19-21 FL’s and sound louder as well.

More than one source has confirmed that the PFL sound (or very close to it) is back for Euro spec’d FE’s. So maybe FE’s designated for the Aussie market have different exhaust software. Or maybe there’s something wrong with that Aussie FE’s exhaust system 😂.
