Misfire after downpipe install
Hello,

I just finished up today installing catless downpipes on my 17’ c63s. (I had purchased the car already tuned.)

After install, I took the car on a test drive and it was having a really bad misfire + bogging


Plugged in my scanner and it had a few codes, one was cylinder 2 running too rich, and the other two were cylinder misfire in 7 + 8.

I could not pin point the cause, I tried turning the ecu back to stock using the handheld left in the trunk and it did not want to for some other odd reason Lol.

Any idea what I should check on or do, any help is greatly appreciated.

You likely have a leak between the turbo and the downpipe or somewhere down the line, did you replace the exhaust clamps?

I’ll give that a look again, but no I did not replace the exhaust clamps. I didn’t think it needed to be replaced because they worked fine?

I had my clamps replaced when the downpipes where put on, they have a new updated clamp that can be reused I believe.
