Turning in 43 for 63

Hi Brothers- the lease on my C43 is due up in 2 months. I prefer to lease, but the only lease car I can picture myself in, is a M3, but I really want a V8. Leaning towards getting a 2020 or 2021 C63 (Sedan), with low mileage.

Question being- I am prepping what I would like to do. I am YouTubing catless vs catted downpipes. To my understanding, the catless just doesn't sound as "***** to the wall"? Is this correct?

Just looking for what needs to be done for that little extra "uumph" with exhaust tone without sounding totally bonkers.

Looking at a black model, going to black out grill, side doors, back, etc.

Lastly, do any of you guys lower the car, or prefer stock suspension? Since I am going to buy the actual vehicle, looking to put aside maybe 4-5K to do some mods.

The C43 just isn't doing it for me anymore, lol.

Cheers

For 5k, you're looking at a downpipe + tune (ECU mandatory, CPC/TCU is optional for just downpipes).
Labor costs will be high for downpipes if you're not cutting, because transmission needs to be removed and reinstalled.

As for the suspension, it's really up to you, I find the stock suspension to be quite low enough, I actually scraped and chipped the front lip, it's quite low.
As for catless vs catted, I went with catless and don't regret it at all (but it does stink).

Go with G80/G82, it’s a much better platform reliability wise. But I do miss the V8 tho.

Does it have to be a sedan? Can you get the Coupe?
