Toyota Supra wheels on c63 AMG

Hello everyone,

Little confused by this. But hopefully someone can help me understand this. The car I'm looking at has MKV (new supra) wheels on it.

AMG C63 Sedan factory specs -> 8.5 ET 38 245/35/19 9.5 ET 56 265/35/19

MKV (new supra) ->
9.5 ET32 255/35/19 and 10 ET40 275/35/19

Now the car has 245/40/19 & 275/35/19 tires mounted

I'm extremely puzzled by this and why anyone would do this? Car is super clean, no modifications and low mileage but this has me thrown off .

The MKV supra probably has the same wheel specs/hub bore as the C63s so the guy probably went ahead and swapped them out. He now has wider wheels for better traction

supra wheels: CB 66.5 with 5 x 112 bolt pattern and thread size 14 x 1.25
C63s wheels: 66.6 with 5 x 112 bolt with 14 x 1.5

Thread size is different but I guess he managed it some how---- ask him if possible

drive the car and make sure there are no vibrations at any speed at least up to 100+

That's my guess though

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it. Car drives ok.
tires stick out a tad…so a little off putting. The offsets aren’t even close, seems like there would be better options out there.

That looks strange man. Ditch those wheels if you buy it

Wow those wheels look ugly on c63.
I really wonder about some people’s taste.

Not commenting on the looks, but you can enter the numbers at the calculator below and you can see that the MKV wheels with those tires are basically a little farther out. Similar to installing spacers.

Totally ruins the car. I picked up a white with black wheel c63 coupe back in 2018 and had it for like 1 year and loved that I traded for a r8. Now looking to replace my daily s4 with another c63 as I have a stage 2 full kline exhaust turbo s for fun. I stumbled upon this car locally but the wheels suck.

I can replace the wheels…just worried maybe some damage is done given the different thread as stated above.
