Bad or good buy with previous accident

https://imgur.com/a/onzPKMq

Hello everyone nice to meet you, Ive been in the market for an M4 F82 for a while but ever since I stumbled on the c63 amg coupe as a car (I never knew anything about mercedes) I kinda fell in love with the looks but most importantly the sound and now I wanted to maybe look for one, but obviously they are more expensive than what an F82 usually goes for so I d have to up the budget! I found this particular car tho with a previous accident that my untrained eye would say it s not major

Now, I don't know that much about cars but I know buying a car with previous accidents is bad for 2 reasons:
-structural damage to the car(tho if you could expand on why is this really important and what problems could arise if a car has structural damage and is repaired bcs I can only assume)

-it s gonna be much harder to sell it once you want to get rid of it

I guess tho there may be nuances to this question depending the severity of the accident, this is what I want to ask you bcs I have 0 clue about it, from the pics Ive attached both before and after if you can take a look and tell your opinion on how serious the damage was and if this would be a worthy buy if the price is right

For context, this c63 is listed where I live around 7-9k euro less than the next cheapest c63 with similar specs

It s I think almost fully optioned and has performance exhaust(could that be damaged in the accident?)

Km: 100k / miles: 62k
year: 2017

thank you everybody

The accident doesn't look too bad. The bumper supports behind the bumper should absorb minor impacts. The bumper itself doesn't look too cracked or broken so I doubt structurally the accident affected much. There's a taillight whose glass has come off but the taillight itself is still in place, so again wasn't too hard of a hit. The rear left quarter panel is dented as well. There are no pics of the lower front of the car after the accident. There are 2 radiators in the bottom front of the bumper, plus another 2 transmission coolers on either side in the front corners. I believe these may have taken damage and hence no pics of that.

Are the top pics the "after repair" pics? If so they did a decent job cosmetically, But again if the radiators and intercoolers weren't fixed properly, you may have issues.

The other issue you need to consider is that the car has some modifications. It looks lowered. The rear diffuser has been changed, which suggests the previous owner may have done other things as well. Hard to tell if the engine has been tuned, but overall a modified car plus that high mileage plus the accident, I would suggest to stay away.

Personally if you are going to keep the car less than 3yrs I would look for a car without an accident history. When I was searching a ton of these cars had restored titles or been neglected by their previous owners (like Poptarts being stuck to the rear seats ).
