C180 to C63s
Before I start i would like to mention custom duties are about 500% in Pakistan, so I were to import a C63S W205 ( 2018) it would cost close to $400,000.
Long story short, I bought a 2018 C63s in Japan, sent it to Dubai, Stripped the entire thing and got everything packed into boxes and sent it to Khi, Pakistan. ( everything but the chassis)
In Pakistan I bought a 2015 C180, stripped the car to the bare Chassis. After the c63s parts arrived from Dubai we pretty much took all the parts of C63s and bolted it onto the c180 chassis. Took us about 3-4 days to assemble the entire car. The entire project ( From importing the car from japan and sending to dubai to get stripped out and sending to pakistan) Took about 6 months time.
The reason to do this? Saving cost basically. If i had imported the C63s from japan and paid the 500% it wouldve nearly cost me half a million dollars lol. The method we opted for although requires a lot of time and effort, set me back around $130,000, all costs included.
I have a two w204 c63s that I converted the same exact way, and the plan is to convert a E63s w213 next. My IG is alzzturbo if anyone is interested in my past builds or future E63s build.
The w205 is running great, recently got stage 2 tuned with Modalwork intakes, made 645 whp. Still stock turbos, stock fuel system. 6 sec 100 to 200 consistently ( with lots of spin) .
Will share pictures of the build if this thread gets some interest.
Thank you
Alz
How do you get past the registration/insurance issues when the chassis and engine number don't match? Is it an issue?

Your car looks wider at the front than a normal C63 S Sedan. Did you use boy Coupe parts to convert/widen it at all?
Please post more photos 👏

No issues were faced during the conversion process, everything went smoothly. Faced more issues I guess while converting my w204 but I guess I learned a few things during that conversion that I implemented while converting the w205. The slight problems I did start facing was after getting her tuned, Went for PTG ECU/TCU and the car ran great for about a year, decided on going for the Modalworks Gen 2 intakes, and then the car started throwing crankcase codes on the PTG tune. Switched tuners, got a Custom tune now, car Runs much better now, E10+ 1/4 Bottle of Boostane pro per tank full tank mixed with pump 91. No knock what so ever, car still doing consistent 6-6.1 sec 100 to 200 in 80F ambient temps.
Mods : Catless dowpipes, Modalwork intakes, ECU/TCU tune.
